I also have the Dell U2515 as recommended by Heinrich. It is by far the best value for money monitor when it comes to photo editing (I have done a lot of research before I bought it. Color accuracy is perfect and blows away the 27 iMac (non 5k) in terms of quality. Wootware has the best price as well and very good service.

I have used the Dell P2514Q since June 2015 as external monitor on my MacBook Pro for photo editting. It is excellent. I am upgrading to iMac so this monitor is currently for sale, listed in classified. Almost 2 years left of original 3 year warrantee.
